Hague Innovators challenge calls on startups and scale-ups for innovative solutions
With winners from previous editions such as Naïf Care, Greenfox, North Sea Farmers and WECO, the Hague Innovators is an established challenge in The Hague. Do you have an innovative idea for a better world? Then register for the Haagse Vernieuwers challenge before September 25 and present your creative vision to a selected jury of partners such as Rabobank, DOEN Participaties, Unknown Group and UNIIQ.
Luc Hogervorst, founder of Weco, won the grand prize in 2022 and is happy with the outcome: “The Hague Innovators Prize was a source of support for us in terms of publicity and finances. It was an experience we look back on with great pleasure!”
The Hague, a true impact city
As an international city of peace and justice, the municipality of The Hague supports and encourages startups and scale-ups working on innovations for a better world. It is not for nothing that the city is known as ImpactCity and has been named the second city in the Netherlands two years in a row when it comes to an attractive climate for startups.
Nominees
The jury selects eight nominees from all applications. The nominees go through a substantive program focused on the further development and growth of the organization’s plan. At the end of the program, all nominees submit a final plan of action and it is pitched to the jury.
Final during ImpactFest
This year’s finale is part of the program of the leading impact event in
Europe: ImpactFest. There, all nominees will have the chance to pitch their innovative solution where hundreds of startups, scale-ups, NGOs, governments, investors and business will come together. Winners will receive cash prizes ranging from €2,500 to €15,000.
