The Hague Startup Mission to Slush Helsinki 2024

Are you ready for the next step and want to give your company a boost? Then join us at Slush in Helsinki. The municipality of The Hague offers innovative The Hague-based companies the opportunity to participate in this journey. The trade mission will take place from November 18th to 21st. Registration is open until July 15th.

Slush 2024

Slush is one of the largest technology and startup conferences in Europe. It attracts over 13,000 visitors, 4,200 startups, 2,200 investors, and 650 journalists from around the world annually. The goal is to bring startups, investors, and tech leaders together to network, exchange ideas, and explore business opportunities. A unique moment to showcase your company!

Purpose of the trip

Slush is one of the leading tech events in Europe. It provides a unique opportunity to engage with like-minded individuals and leaders. Additionally, there are many investors present, and it’s possible to raise funding for your business. Slush focuses on companies that address the challenges of our time, embrace diversity, and take calculated risks. Encouraging positive change and making an impact are at the forefront.

What to expect?

Slush offers exciting opportunities for startups from The Hague to:

• Join the national mission organised by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), become part of the delegation with access to RVO programming, and visit the NL Lounge op Slush;
• Present their product or service to an international audience;
• Attract new customers;
• Raise funding;
• Form partnerships;
• And attract talent. 

Who should participate?

The startup mission from the municipality of The Hague to Slush is for ambitious Impact and Tech companies. If you have a startup with a scalable business model and want to grow rapidly, consider joining this mission to Helsinki. In collaboration with national and regional partners, the municipality of The Hague provides access to side events and opportunities to expand your network.

Registration criteria:

 To participate, your company must meet the following conditions:

• Your product or service is high-tech, innovative, and potentially disruptive in the market;
• Your product and/or service has a proven track record;
• Your company is ready for international scaling;
• You are seeking seed funding or other early forms of funding;
• You are registered with the Chamber of Commerce (KVK).

If you don’t meet all the criteria, mention why you shouldn’t be excluded from this mission when registering.

Practical information

• Participation fee is 500 Euros, for a maximum of two people, participation in programming, and potential guidance;
• Selection will take place on July 18, 2024, and selected participants will be notified;
• Travel and accommodation expenses are at your own cost. We recommend staying at the same hotel as the Dutch delegation (hotel T.B.A.);
