First of its kind Co-Working Kitchen and Food Lab launches in The Hague

February 8, 2024, Den Haag

KiCo, The Hague’s first co-working kitchen and food lab combines state-of-the-art facilities and expertise within a community framework. Launching on March 4 within Titaan in Binckhorst, KiCo provides 850m2 of shared and private production kitchen space as well as an innovation kitchen to serve sustainable food businesses at every stage of their journey.

Founded by brothers Samer and Sami Simreen, KiCo fills a crucial gap in the market for low-threshold kitchen rental options. Samer, with his experience scaling a modest catering business into the UAE’s largest private caterer, brings valuable insights from large-scale industrial catering to retail and events. Meanwhile, Sami’s expertise in marketing and innovation strategy within globally renowned brands, ensures KiCo members benefit from a holistic approach to business growth.

“Building a food business comes with many challenges, especially if you’re working on creative new ideas. Our mission is to minimise risk and maximise success by providing not just space, but a supportive community and access to expertise.”

Sami Simreen, Co-Founder KiCo

KiCo’s community approach entails organising workshops and courses for members in collaboration with experts like innovation chefs, regenerative farmers and successful food entrepreneurs.

Members can choose different types of memberships.
