Tools for Impact – Workshop: Business Angel & Impact Investing landscape

The Hague Tech, Wilhelmina van Pruisenweg 35, 2595 AN, Den Haag, Zuid-Holland

You run an early stage business that is seeking to change the world for the better. You have set everything in line to launch your idea to the market, yet you are lacking the funds to do so. Well, noow it’s time to turn on your radar and start looking for financing opportunities to grow, to expand your activities and to generate profits so you can start making impact. If this resonates with you, we have the perfect workshop for you. As in this stage, angel investment could be a great opportunity for you.

An angel investor, also called ‘business angel’ – is a person who invests in small businesses or entrepreneurs providing them with the initial capital needed to launch or expand their business, in return for a share of the company’s ownership.

What does the Business Angelslandscape look like? Does your business qualify for seed capital? And what do you need to convince angel investors to offer you money to grow your business?

Martijn Blom (EVPA) and Keith Wallace (HIVOS Impact Investments) will tell you all about the Business Angel landscape in the Tools for Impact Workshop: Business Angel & Impact Investing landscape.

Following the workshop, there will be a panel discussion in which two other investment experts – Michelle de Rijk (Fair Capital Partners) and Pieter Christiaan Vermeer (Investor Ready) – will also join.

The following questions will be answered during the workshop:

  • What are the pros and cons of angel / impact investing?
  • What should you consider for your exit strategy?
  • Where to find angel / impact investors?
  • How do you make investors to fall in love with you project?
