Fundraising support program

For all fundraising startups and scale-ups seeking expansion capital from international investors, in seed and above stages

Support Program

Good news to all fundraising startups and scale-ups seeking expansion capital from international investors, in seed, and above stages: ImpactCity continues to facilitate the Fundraising Support Program. The program will be provided by PHX, on behalf of ImpactCity, Up!Rotterdam and Metropoolregio Rotterdam Den Haag (MRDH).

PHX manages a community and a stage-agnostic fundraising support program for regional startups and scale-ups. ‌The program helps startups and scale-ups to successfully tackle the fundraising process, end-to-end: from investor discovery to warm introductions to venture capital investors.

The Fundraising support program is meant to fix the asymmetry in venture and to unlock access to capital. PHX helps startups and scale-ups to successfully tackle the fundraising process, end-to-end: from fundraising preparation to investor research & discovery, to investor CRM & pipeline management. PHX support is determined in coordination with the program participant and is dependent on the availability and capacity of the PHX team. PHX fundraising support program is offered in conjunction with access to the fundraising software (front-end user platform) developed by PHX for the duration of the program.

Key information about the program:
  • Timeline of the support program: until the end of 2023
  • Information-sharing guideline: all information shared by the startup and PHX is treated confidentially (signed MoU required). The provided investor data and frameworks are proprietary to PHX – they may not be sold, licensed, transferred, copied or reproduced in any form to any external party without prior consent from PHX
  • Code of conduct: diligent communications with PHX, accurate and timely information-sharing to keep provided frameworks (investor longlist, Fundraising CRM and touchpoints with investors) always up-to-date
  • Program results: Partners and PHX may (with prior consultation with the startup), publicly share successful outcomes of the program and would appreciate public support from the startup, to reinforce our efforts in growing the entrepreneurial ecosystem
  • Participation in the program requires a “skin in the game” contribution of EUR 250, invoiced to MRDH
  • Criteria of eligibility:
    • a startup with immediate fundraising need
    • Established in the Netherlands (Zuid Holland)
    • Have a scalable business model / high-growth ambitions (applicable for VC investors, e.g. no “advisory/consulting” business)
    • Targeting EUR 1M+ funding amount (PHX program is stage- and industry-agnostic but the VC and related investor profiles are most applicable in Seed-Series B stages)
  • Note: PHX is not a fundraising advisor and does not charge a commission or fee during the duration of the program
