Join us for the Secrid Design Live Talk, where we explore the production process as a design challenge.
Every product starts with an idea. But how it is made, where and by whom, may be the biggest design challenge of all. This year we zoom in on local and social production: what does it really mean, what does it cost, and what does it take to make it possible?
Together with designers, makers, industry and conscious consumers, we’ll explore the dilemmas and opportunities of producing closer to home and with people at the heart of the process. No polished success stories, but an honest conversation about what works, what doesn’t (yet), and how we can make it possible together.
What to expect
- Honest insights into the challenges (and opportunities!) of designing production as local and social as possible
- Inspiring stories from designers, makers and Secrid itself. Speakers will be announced soon!
- A chance to connect with our international community of designers, students, makers and industry
- And all this includes a lovely free vegetarian dinner, made by the Secrid kitchen team
Secure your (free!) spot by signing up through Eventbrite.
